Fr. Frank Coady was ordained in 1976. His ministry has mostly involved parish ministry, liturgy, and education. He has done pastoral ministry in Junction City (1975-1983), Salina (1985-1992; 1997-2015), Clyde & Clifton (1994-97), and Gypsum (1998). Most recently, he was pastor of Sacred Heart Cathedral (2012-15). He also works for the diocese as Director of Liturgy, Director of Lay Ministry Formation, and as Director of Pastoral Ministry Formation for the Salina and Dodge City Dioceses. He taught at Marymount College (1985-89). He was an adjunct instructor at Benedictine College (1990-1992) and at Newman University (1994-2012). He has been on the faculty of Newman University since 2013 and served on their Board of Regents (2013-2022). He has been a liturgical consultant since 1994, assisting parishes in building and remodeling projects. He received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from St. Thomas Seminary College, Denver, and his S.T.L. degree in fundamental theology and Doctorate in dogmatic theology, both from Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome.
