Trap Shoot Season Opens

The trap shooting season got off to a great start on April 2. Knights are welcome to join in the fun every month through October.

Veteran's Day Breakfast

Thank you to all of the veterans who joined us for the annual breakfast. We appreciate your service to our country!

Twenty-five Knights helped in the planning, preparing, serving and greeting at the Veterans Day Breakfast. 850 biscuits were made, 35 lbs of sausage fried - 12 gallons of orange juice and 500 cup of coffee served. Around 400 were served at the 2016 Veterans Day Breakfast.

Our Legacy

Congratulations Hammerschmidt Family!

Denny and Vicki Hammerschmidt and their family has been named the Kansas Knights of Columbus State Family of the Year.  The honor was announced on May 2 during the 114th Annual Knights of Columbus Kansas State Convention. Congratulations to our Brother Knight Denny and his wonderful family!

Council Supports the Flint Hills Breadbasket

Kevin Roberts, Grand Knight of STM Council 8488, presents a $500.00 donation to Maribeth Keiffer, Executive Director for the Flint Hills Breadbasket.  The Council for the 2014 Council year donated 6,060 pounds of food and $1,817.66 to the Breadbasket.

Top Council

St. Thomas More Knights of Columbus council 8488 was recognized by Wade Greif as the top council of the seven in his territory for their 2014 recruitment and financial support to the Knights of Columbus.  Wade donated $400 to the council for their efforts.
