Third Age

The Third Age Group is a group of men and women in their retirement years who visit/phone the elderly and shut‑ins, support parish activities, take communion to home bound, have monthly meetings/outings to socialize, and give spiritual direction to each other.  They generally meet at least once a month for various speakers and events.

Care Committee

Care Committee is a group that organizes services for home-bound, elderly, and hospitalized individuals.  Their goal is to provide communion, visitation, and assistance to individuals in their times of need.

Education Commission

The Education Commission is to be an advocate of the various educational programs and a liaison between these programs and the parish community.

Evangelization Commission

Evangelization has both an inward and an outward direction. Inwardly, it calls for practicing Catholics to continue receiving the Gospel message of Jesus Christ; it nurtures us, helps us grow, and renews us in holiness as God’s people.  Outwardly, evangelization addresses those who have not yet heard the Gospel in a meaningful way, or those who, having heard it, have stopped practicing their faith, and also those who seek the fullness of faith.  This group sponsors the Witness Talks held regularly.

Grounds Committee

The Grounds Committee works hard to make the church grounds appealing.  They oversee the mowing of the lawn, snow removal, and the maintenance of grounds equipment and sprinkler systems.  They also work in conjunction with Art & Environment on upkeep of the ornamental landscaping on the church property.

Social Concerns Committee

The goal of this committee is to heighten awareness of the social needs in the community as well as globally and to create and implement programs to meet some of these needs.  This committee began our parish Neighbor to Neighbor Ministry and introduced our parish to the Care Portal.

Parish & Family Life Committee

Parish & Family Life Committee strives to promote the community spirit of the parish by coordinating and planning parish-wide events.  This committee aims to discern the needs of families (single parent, two parent, extended, etc.) and to create and implement programs to meet those needs.  They sponsor both the Annual Parish Picnic and the God's Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage weekends.
